My name is Ann-Marie Metcalfe and I’m heading far too quickly for my liking, towards the big 40!

I was born and raised in Nottinghamshire, but have spent the last 12 years living close to Chester.

I have only been into photography for around three years now. I have progressed from using a point and shoot camera, then onto a bridging camera followed by my first DSLR camera, a Canon EOS 300D. I have recently upgraded to a Canon 20D and the difference in image quality is quite noticeable to me.

I decided to start this blog as a way of keeping track of and displaying my Personal Photographic Project.

I challenged myself to an area of photography I’d not ventured into. The title is Anything Edible. As the title suggest, I will be taking photographs of anything related to Food and Drink. I am thoroughly enjoying this project as it’s making me think a lot about composition, lighting and what looks good close up and what doesn’t food wise.

I hope you enjoy my project and blog. Please feel free to leave any comments. In fact, it would be appreciated.

Thank

Ann-Marie
